We created Papeez because the way we and our colleagues handled the grading of multiple-choice questions was chaotic.

The old methods of grading paper-based multiple-choice questions were not only time-consuming but also prone to human error, and the available tools were all lacking in efficiency. Free or paid software that caused headaches: difficult to use, long to install and configure, sometimes requiring specific hardware (optical readers, specific paper sheets, etc). In short, it consumed an unreasonable amount of time and money.

Our school and student experiences reminded us that we liked to have our multiple-choice answer sheets graded quickly, and not weeks or months later.

So we asked ourselves: what would a 10 times better solution look like?

We created something much more than just a grading tool. All while eliminating manual errors and focusing on what really matters.
